Description
Trapezoidal shape with concave sides ending in a curved blade edge and a straight base forming an angle with the sides. Made in a cast or mould. Trapezoidal models are considered to be the most modern of flat axes from the Middle Bronze Age. In the same cave where this piece was found was a recess with another forty-five axes hidden inside a vessel. According to archaeologists, this concealment must have been the result of an emergency when the cave was still inhabited.
